Program to Create Fractals

Step 1: Click here and Print out "The Wonderful World of Fractals." This is a WORD document guide to using the fractal creation program.

Step 2: Go to the Fractint Homepage (This is great and I didn't even know this site existed until "recently")

or

Step 2: Create a new folder on your hard drive called "Fractals" (If you don't know how to do this, then follow the instructions in "The Wonderful World of Fractals.")

Step 3: Download each of the following files to this new folder.

Program 1 (Fractint.exe) (Left or right click to download)
Program 2 (Fraint.exe) (Left or right click to download)
Program 3 (Fractint.cfg) (Right click to download)
Program 4 (Fractint.L) (Right click to download)

Step 4: Sign off from the web, and go to your new Fractals folder (created in Step 2), and double click on Fractint.exe.

Step 5. Follow the instructions you printed out in Step 1.

Step 6. Have fun. Tell a friend. Share the beautiful pictures you find.

Step 7. (Optional) Here are some great fractals I have discovered using this program. You can download and view these using the "Load Image from File" function. If you have fractals you'd like to share, send them to me and I'll post them here, subject, of course, to editorial review.
